I've found an animation set that will allow me to heavily expand the combat system. I'm currently working with a very limited animation set, and having this expansion will allow me to add a lot more variety to the enemies and their weapons.

Prophecy Island is an open world roguelite rpg. It is inspired by games like Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall, the Souls series, Freddi Fish and more. The gist is that with every new playthrough, you start with a new island, city, dungeons, quests, adventure! Prophecy Island is currently in active development. I have been working on it on-and-off in my spare time for the last few years, but I am now ramping up production. If you want to help, any donation is a welcome one.
